Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law

Girl Scout Mission
“Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.”

Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
          honest and fair,
          friendly and helpful,
          considerate and caring,
          courageous and strong,
and responsible for what I             say and do,
and to
          respect myself and others,
          respect authority,
          use resources wisely,
make the world a better                 place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Troop Meeting Policies

To ensure a successful year,  we are strongly depending on your assistance.  Therefore, listed below are some troop policies:

1)  All Brownie meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm (unless otherwise noted due to school holidays, troop events, etc.) at Justin's home (unless otherwise noted). See calendar tab. A troop meeting/event calendar will be provided for known dates.  Many activities arise during the year, so every effort will be made to provide advance notice.

All Daisy meetings will be from 6:30pm to 8:00pm but on different nights (see calendar tab). Aforementioned previously is the same.  Follow a link below to access a calendar with all current events and meetings throughout the year.

2)  Troop dues are $5 per meeting.  Any additional event participation costs will be provided in advance of the event.

3) Parents you are welcome to attend the meeting; however,  if you choose to drop off your daughter, we ask that you please be on time when picking her up.

4)  We ask that the girls wear their uniforms to outside meetings or events; uniforms are not required for regular meetings.

5) For the safety of the girls, we ask that all parents fill out both a membership and volunteer application.

6) When we have to attend an outside event, we ask for additional adult attendance.  Siblings are welcomes, but also must be under adult supervision.
